2nd day in DCS411B

Before heading to school I had lunch at a hawker near school, I decided to try the minced meat noodle. While ordering i had nice little chat with the chef about school life and what is good at his shop which was black pepper something.. i forget haha... I told him i will try another time.

First lesson of the day was with Chef Daisy, being the class rep I was told to collect money and buy the book.. after buying.. i wanted to give all the people there their 10 cent change but most of them dont want haha so nice. My wallet was full of coins. All the coins came in useful luckily later in the day for buying recipe file where i gave the change of coins to my classmates.
Chef Daisy gave us our study guide and went through the first chapter about food.The Main points were how IMPORTANT that you KNOW YOUR INGREDIENTS before cooking and a BALANCE MEAL was what i got out of the lesson!!Home work was to read about vegetables.

Waited with Eugene for our last lesson which felt like forever as we explored the school. I entered the school library for the first time which was small and comfy. Haha we drank ice milo from and old school vending machine haha. Memories from long long ago...
2nd and last lesson of the day was with Chef Samson
Got to know which stoves we were using and some of the kitchen things that we need to take note of briefly and some important duties for me to take charge were told..
Paid for our knife sets and recipe file which was lots of money>.<
After class me and Timothy the other class Rep when with Chef Samson to his staff room for counting money and getting to know his table. Manage to see most of the Chefs around his staff room and saw Chef Adrain who interviewed me again^_^

Thats all for now i guess.. Long day tommorrow and have to wake up early=(
